It can be installed in completely new tanks as well as in existing, retrofitted tanks, offering exceptional versatility.
It currently enjoys wide applications in fields such as biofermentation, chemical & pharmaceuticals, food processing, and alcohol & beverages.
Characteristics of the reactor:
• A higher COD load can reach 6–10 kg COD/m³. 3 ·d,
Compared to traditional UASB reactors, it saves on land use.
• The top of the reactor is designed to be sealed, preventing the generation of foul-smelling gases.
It does not cause secondary pollution and does not need to be connected to a waste gas treatment system.
• Integrated modular design for separator internals, making transportation and installation convenient.
Made entirely of PP material, it requires no maintenance and has a service life of over 10 years.
• Point-to-point pressure water distribution; while spraying water, the sludge and wastewater are intensely stirred and mixed.
The water distribution pipe is free from blockages and boasts high mass transfer efficiency.
• The reactor has a relatively high height, with a maximum sludge loading capacity of up to 70%.
The design of the effluent clarification zone prevents sludge washout and eliminates the need for a separate sedimentation tank.
Application Advantages:
• Strong resistance to shock loads: When applied to the treatment of high-concentration wastewater with significant water quality fluctuations and low toxicity (COD = 10,000–60,000 mg/L),
The recirculation flow can reach 10–20 times the inflow rate. The large volume of recirculated water is thoroughly mixed with the incoming water, effectively diluting the concentration of organic matter or harmful substances in the raw water and significantly reducing the impact of water quality fluctuations on the anaerobic process.
• Possesses pH buffering capacity: The recirculating flow is equivalent to the return of anaerobic effluent, which can utilize the alkalinity generated from COD conversion to buffer the pH, maintaining a stable pH within the reactor while significantly reducing the amount of alkali added to the influent.
• Short startup period: The anaerobic granular sludge within the reactor exhibits high activity, providing favorable conditions for rapid reactor startup; the typical startup period is only 5–10 days.
