Electrocatalytic Oxidation Technology
This equipment can significantly enhance the biodegradability of wastewater while reducing COD and removing color, with particularly outstanding results when treating small volumes of highly saline, difficult-to-biodegrade pollutants. It is currently widely used in industries such as printing and dyeing, metallurgy, synthetic chemistry, chemical & petrochemicals, and pharmaceuticals.
Device features:
• The electrocatalytic oxidation equipment operates at ambient temperature and pressure, making the reaction conditions easy to meet.
• Electron transfer occurs solely between the electrodes and the wastewater components; the modular equipment consumes only electrical energy, does not add any chemical agents, and produces no secondary pollution.
• It has strong oxidizing properties, can overcome passivation effects at the electrode, and boasts a wide range of applications. The free radicals that may be generated during the reaction can directly react with organic pollutants in wastewater without selectivity.
• Fewer pieces of equipment, small footprint, simple process, and easy operation.
• The parameters such as current density, voltage, and electrolysis time can be adjusted according to changes in wastewater composition and concentration, enabling the system to handle a wide range of complex wastewater treatment scenarios.
• When wastewater contains metal ions, valuable chemicals or metals can be recovered, reducing operating costs.
• It also exhibits both wastewater flocculation and disinfection effects.
• It employs an intelligent electrolysis power supply with built‑in PLC connectivity to a computer, featuring remote computer/touchscreen HMI control. This system offers significant advantages such as intuitive and convenient operation, automatic plate reversal, high reliability, efficient use, and low power consumption.
