Magnetic Flocculation Phosphorus Removal Technology
Widely used in solid–liquid separation and chemical phosphorus removal applications for industrial wastewater (such as biofermentation, chemical & pharmaceutical, food processing, alcohol & beverages, printing and dyeing, aquaculture, etc.), this technology can significantly reduce land use.
Technical Features:
• Strong phosphorus removal capability: The removal rate of total phosphorus in water can reach over 96%, stably reducing the influent total phosphorus concentration to below 0.1 mg/L—far exceeding the treatment limits of conventional phosphorus removal processes.
• Remarkable clarification effect: Thanks to the strong adsorption and rapid settling properties of magnetic media, the effluent turbidity can be reduced to below 1 NTU, resulting in crystal‑clear water.
• High device integration: Featuring a modular, all-in-one design, the system can be seamlessly integrated into existing treatment systems for convenient installation. The core equipment is made from corrosion‑resistant materials, boasting a service life of over 10 years with minimal maintenance requirements.
• Controllable operating costs: Relying on a highly efficient magnetic separation system, the magnetic media recovery rate exceeds 99.5%, and the media can be recycled without frequent replenishment.
Application Advantages:
• High surface loading and small footprint: The surface loading ranges from 15 to 40 (m 3/m2 ·h),
The retention time is 20 minutes, far exceeding that of conventional sedimentation tanks.
It occupies only 1/10 to 1/25 the area of a conventional sedimentation basin.
• Strong resistance to shock loads: It exhibits excellent adaptability to fluctuations in influent flow rate, pH, water temperature, and phosphorus concentration, with stable treatment performance that is unaffected by short‑term changes in water quality.
